Having a party? Check you have your security covered

- Inform neighbours out of courtesy that you are having a party and they may expect some noise for a few hours.
- Inform the police if your party is going to be quite large.
- When advertising the party, be mindful of who will see this. Do not post invitations on a networking site or paper for uninvited guests to turn up
- Have a guest list and stick to it.
- Consider hiring a Security Officer with RSA (Responsible service of Alcohol) for the main entrance. When there is a presence of security, there tends to be no problems later during the celebrations. They can also turn away uninvited guests and ensure no under age drinking.
- Store any valuables in a safe place that can be locked
